Iโve never used Reddit before, but Iโve seen it a lot on TikTok, so I hope Iโm doing this right. Iโm an 18 year old female, and Iโve been with my boyfriend, a 23 year old male for just over a year. We didnโt sleep together until after about 11 months. At first, he was pretty vanilla in bed, but I really liked him and was happy to do what he enjoyed.
About two weeks ago, he told me he had some kinks he couldnโt stop thinking about. I asked what they were, and although he was hesitant at first, he eventually opened up and said he was interested in trying dom/BDSM stuff. I agreed, thinking it was fairly basic, but when we tried it, I realized I really enjoyed it.
The next day, however, he told me he was wrong and that it wasnโt actually for him. He apologized for suggesting it and said he hoped he didnโt make me uncomfortable. I reassured him that I wasnโt uncomfortable at all, but now I feel conflicted. I genuinely loved what we did and want to continue exploring it, but I donโt know how to bring it up when heโs already said it isnโt something he wants. He is my first sexual partner and I donโt want to be disappointing to him.
