It’s been incredible to witness the ways in which the Reddit community has come together to raise awareness, share information and resources, and support each other during a time of universal need. And today, we’re excited to launch the Solidarity Award, which seeks to raise funds for fighting the COVID-19 pandemic via the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization (WHO). The fund -- which is powered by the United Nations Foundation and the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation -- supports WHO’s work to track and understand the spread of COVID-19, ensure patients get the care they need, frontline workers get essential supplies and information, and accelerate efforts to develop vaccines, tests, and treatments for the pandemic.
