[td]In 1973–1974, Henry returned to her alma mater to teach English at the [[Lycee Francais de New York]], where [[Pierrette Fleutiaux]] asked her to teach photography to the teachers, her first photography teaching. In 1974, Henry volunteered at the [[International Center of Photography]] before it opened, and was then hired by Via Wynroth to attend to the Education program. [[Cornell Capa]], founder of the ICP, then asked her to create and run the Community Workshop Program, in which she also taught black and white photography until she left the ICP in 1979.
