Time: 12 minutes
Welcome back, weโre in the final stretch!
This weekโs theme is powerful: โSomeone needs exactly what you have to share.โ Youโve been building your writing habit and crafting your storyโโโnow itโs crucial to keep your reader front and center.
Todayโs assignment: mind the gaps
After letting your draft rest over the weekend, itโs time for a fresh read-through. Hereโs your approach:
What to do: Read slowly and make only additive edits today. Expand on what youโve written, add clarifying sentences, and fill in gapsโโโbut donโt cut anything yet. (Weโll tackle that tomorrow.)
Time limit: Give yourself about 12 minutes to read through and add a few sentences wherever something feels unclear or incomplete.
Goal for today: These additions become valuable raw material for tomorrowโs editing session. When we focus on cutting for clarity tomorrow, youโll have more content to work with and shape.
Ok, we are getting so close. Thanks for sticking with this. Tomorrow, Iโll share a practical editing prompt that will help you polish your work. See you then.
