Time: 12 minutes
Welcome back, weβre in the final stretch!
This weekβs theme is powerful: βSomeone needs exactly what you have to share.β Youβve been building your writing habit and crafting your storyβββnow itβs crucial to keep your reader front and center.
Todayβs assignment: mind the gaps
After letting your draft rest over the weekend, itβs time for a fresh read-through. Hereβs your approach:
What to do: Read slowly and make only additive edits today. Expand on what youβve written, add clarifying sentences, and fill in gapsβββbut donβt cut anything yet. (Weβll tackle that tomorrow.)
Time limit: Give yourself about 12 minutes to read through and add a few sentences wherever something feels unclear or incomplete.
Goal for today: These additions become valuable raw material for tomorrowβs editing session. When we focus on cutting for clarity tomorrow, youβll have more content to work with and shape.
Ok, we are getting so close. Thanks for sticking with this. Tomorrow, Iβll share a practical editing prompt that will help you polish your work. See you then.
