London: Plane Crashes After Takeoff From Southend Airport, Massive Fireball Erupts | N18G A small passenger jet crashed shortly after taking off from London Southend Airport on Sunday, triggering a huge fireball and thick plumes of smoke visible across Essex. The aircraft, a Beech B200 Super King Air, was heading to the Netherlands. As of now, the number of casualties has not been confirmed.
