:*That appears to be because he wasn't really a fencer, and only competed in {{ill|Deutscher und Österreichischer Fechterbund|de}} events. We do know he was recorded as just "Captain Rischtoff"([https://www.google.com/books/edition/The_1920_Olympic_Games/wYIwCgAAQBAJ]:491) when he competed, so that'd be why.
