Watch: Nasa Astronaut Shows Off Yo-Yo Trick, Calls It "Return To Home Planet" | N18G NASA’s oldest active astronaut, Don Pettit, demonstrated a yo-yo trick aboard the International Space Station. In an X post on July 13, he explained that keeping the string taut through a circular motion was key to controlling the toy in microgravity. A video shared by Pettit shows him spinning the yo-yo in a full circle, flipping it mid-air, and smoothly reeling it back into his hand.
