Venerable Kavithaja holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pāli and Buddhist Studies from the [[University of Kelaniya]], [[Sri Lanka|Sri Lanka.]] He completed his Master’s degree in Buddhist Studies at the Postgraduate Institute of Pāli and Buddhist Studies (PGIPBS), University of Kelaniya, and is currently undertaking an MPhil degree at the same institution.
