I am interested mostly in the [[Academic discipline|disciplines]] of [[mathematics]] and [[linguistics]], so I mostly edit articles relating to those topics. However, I edit most flawed articles I come across, no matter the subject, though I often have to do boring research in order to edit. Currently, I am not extremely experienced editing Wikipedia, so I feel like I'm learning something new every time I open this website! I hope soon I will be able to stop calling myself inexperienced/intermediate. I'm open to advice! I am a [[student]], so often I will not be able to respond quickly to problems brought up on my user page. As an [[East Asian people|East Asian]], specifically [[Han Chinese]], I also enjoy learning about my [[culture]], and I especially like researching topics relating to the [[languages of East Asia]], since it ties in to my hobby of linguistics. My old username was StOctavius, which was named after Saint Octavian of Carthage, who was also known as Octavius or Ottaviano. This was because I thought it sounded cool, but it's not my [[username]] anymore, so does it still matter? I still use StOctavius on my [[Duolingo]] account, though.
