I came here to draw your attention to some of the documents that guide how Wikipedia works, and found that this particular conversation was already underway. The Talk page for [[Habesha peoples]] is ''absolutely'' the right place to discuss your dispute with the article's content. The problem comes with editing the page while discussing the content on the Talk page. Wikipedia encourages contributors to edit boldly ([[WP:BOLD]]). However, when there are disputes we try to achieve consensus ([[WP:CON]]). We handle this thru discussions that are ''usually'' on the article's Talk page. (If they happen elsewhere, it's good policy to leave advisories on the Talk page.) While we are working toward a new consensus, we don't edit back & forthβ"edit warring" ([[WP:EW]]). Instead, we leave the page at its prior consensus, work out a new consensus on Talk, & ''then'' make the corresponding edits. If editors on a particular page reach an impasse & are unable to achieve consensus, it's possible to seek input from third parties ([[WP:3O]]) orβafter thatβdispute resolution ([[WP
R]]). This can be collegial & collaborative. A difference of editorial position usually can be resolved in a way that results in a better version than what any of us would have achieved alone. [[User
