In a phone interview Mirangine Sub county police commander Peter Walah confirmed arrest of the duo adding that more arrests are likely to be made.

Mirangine OCS Samuel Mukuna addressed the protestors and confirmed that two suspects were arrested on Saturday and have since recorded statements.
He called on anyone with information that could help police with investigations to volunteer the same.
According to residents Samson Kahuria reportedly died after being tourtered inside a residential house within Gwa Kiongo township in Mirangine on Friday last week, after he was suspected to have stolen two pairs of trousers.
Family members said that he was forced to undress and walk inside a stinging neetle thicket adjacent to Gwa Kiongo dam.
Samson died on arrival at JM Kariuki hospital in Olkalou moments after he was referred from Mirangine health centre.
A local gang identified as B13 is being accused of reigning terror on members of the public near Gwa Kiongo dam, with some politicians allegedly using members of the gang for security purposes during political gatherings.
Even as burial preparations continue family members have vowed not to bury the deceased until more suspects are arrested and brought to book.
