Regarding the last revert: new section
::::::::1) You can easily access whole book, verify all the contents, and credentials of the author. This source isn't all we have. Beside militant history of a section in Pala era, there are millitary history of Mahishyas in Medieval era too, and many authors discussed in details and some of the sources are already in the article. ( I believe we should add relevant contents from the sources too which will certainly demonstrate due importance) 2. The source is clearly discussing about Mahishyas of Bengal. Moreover [https://www.google.co.in/books/edition/National_Integration_in_Historical_Persp/PItbvfAvVggC?hl=en this book] stated similiar thing I quoted above, but Chakraborty used the term "Kaivartta". That's the only difference. 3) A book published by an academic publisher and edited by an academic scholar is definitely reliable. [https://ibb.co/JXgjR8P Check the list of contents]; not only all are reliable scholars, some are indeed very famous.I wouldn't want to repeat the same thing. If I don't get satisfactory response, I will invite fresh inputs. You may request for broader opinion; I may also ping experienced neutral editors on caste, not the editors who seem to promote Mahishya notables ([[WP:SPA]]) and add the names here! Wikipedia is not meant for caste promotion. Anyway, you may also go for other dispute resolution platforms! Thanks. What was "unreliable" about them, if I may know? [[User:Wisher08|Wisher08]] ([]) 17:13, 30 August 2025 (UTC)
