My parents got a door cam recently and I got a panicked message from my mum at about 3 am to say that she thought someone was outside. This was the β€œsomeone” in question:

FYI this is a stick insect, otherwise known as β€œphantoms of the forest”. They look identical to sticks and they move in this really jerky way where they swing back and forth
