Lady who woke up from coma recounts experience​

A lady who recently came out of a coma has shared her experience with the public as she narrates the strange sensations she had.

She explained that she had been placed in the medically induced state to enable doctors administer treatment for her illness.

In a TikTok video, @dorothytuash recounted what she went through while unconscious.

She revealed that although her body was unresponsive, she felt her soul was alive and could hear conversations happening around her without being able to reply.

She added that she could also feel pain during the period but was unable to react because of her condition.

Her words …

“When I tell you that being in a coma is one of the worse things you can ever experience, do not recommend, beleive me, when I say so. I bet you didn’t know that when you are in a coma, you could hear everything taht is going on around you. “You could hear people talking about you. It’s enough to traumatise a human being. Now, everyone’s experience in a coma is different. A lot of people just black out, they don’t even know what happened. But me, I was conscious and I knew a lot of the things that were happening around me.

“Not only that, I could feel pain. I had like 10 IVs in my arm and when they turned me over, I felt it and I was screaming inside. There was even a time when one of my IVs blew up, like my arm was swollen and they had to pump it out.

“They were squeezing my arms and I was dying a little bit inside every time.”

Speaking on why she was in a coma, she said …

“So the reason why I was in a coma was because I had septic shock and they had to put me in a coma so that they could administer all the treatments and all the IVs for me. “When I found out I was in a coma, it was the worst experience of my life. I was panicking in there, and there was no way of signalling to the outside world. And you can hear what is going on, you can feel the pain, and you are still in there, you are conscious but they don’t know.

Luckily for me, I was in and out. Sometimes, I would come to, and when I get super anxious, with everything that is going on and I start to panic inside, I black out again. And apparently, I was crying a lot when I was in the coma, and it’s because I knew what was going on. And then every time they would open my eyes, I would see, but there was no way I could tell them any of that.”
