Journalists’ deaths in Gaza spark worldwide media protest

Over 250 media outlets in 70 countries joined a global campaign on Monday to condemn the killing of journalists in Gaza, launched by RSF and Avaaz. Front pages and websites displayed a black banner warning that, at this rate, β€œthere will soon be no one left to inform you.” RSF says more than 210 journalists have been killed since Israel's military response to the October 7 Hamas attack. Jonathan Dagher, Head of the Middle East Desk at Reporters Without Borders, was FRANCE 24's guest to talk about this campaign.
