800+ million people use LinkedIn.
But you donβt need even 1% of them.
But most people make this mistake; they think they need to go viral or have more than 10,000 followers to make money.
Is it true?
You donβt need any of that to start making money here.
You need to be clear about what you can do and show that you can solve problems.
Money doesnβt come from followers. It comes from proof that you can solve problems.
Hereβs how you can start todayβeven with under 500 connections:
1. Make Your Profile Work for You
People look at your profile first. Make it easy:
β Banner: one clear line about what you do.
β Headline: βI help X do Y.β
β Featured section: link to your offer (consultation call, PDF, or template).
People will move on if they canβt figure out what you sell in 10 seconds.
2. Give proof, not theory
Donβt share motivational quotes; no one cares about them. Show the results.
β Did you save your team three hours with a new process? Put it up.
β Did you help a friend update their CV? Show the before and after.
β Did you close a client? Break down what worked.
Proof is what makes strangers trust you.
3. Start with an offer that isnβt too risky.
People donβt trust easily. Give them a safe way to test you.
β Review of CV for βΉ499
β Website audit for βΉ999
β 1:1 for interview preparation for βΉ1500
Deliver well on the small stuff. Thatβs how small jobs become big jobs that last a long time.
4. Make DMs into chances (the right way)
Donβt spam. Donβt pitch out of the blue.
Instead, do this:
β Be honest when you comment on their posts.
β Then DM something specific and useful.
Example: βHey, I saw your post about having trouble with sales decks.β I made a quick outline that I have used before. Would you like me to send it?
Thatβs how you move from stranger β helper β paid.
5. Get Social Proof
Save every thank-you note, review, or success story you get.
Post it. Pin it. Show it.
Because proof beats promises.
Remember, you donβt need 10,000 followers. You need 10 people who believe you can solve their problem.
Thatβs how you make money here.
Wish You The Best
