Elfen Lied: Humans are the real monsters, not the emotionally unstable-by-D.N.A. psychic cat girls that can eviscerate people without even looking at them. To demonstrate that, let's have a bunch of ten-year-olds JoJo Lucy's puppy. Platinum End: God is dying and needs a successor, or else all of existence dies. So, instead of picking the most ethically and emotionally qualified person for the job, God decides to have a battle royale between a bunch of suicidally depressed people and give them access to arrows that either kill on command or do mind control, and the candidates consist of a rapist who uses his arrows for a harem, an ugly incel, an incestuous narcissist, a misanthrope who killed his parents, and a Reddit Atheist. When it isn't ripping off Future Diary, the characters go on long spiels against religion and other social issues Tsugumi Ohba wants to get on his soapbox about.
