DCP Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua has accused President William Ruto of masterminding corruption in parliament.
He terms State House the epicentre of corruption
According to Gachagua, Ruto bribed members of parliament to impeach him as deputy president in 2024.
βNothing is happening in this country. Its corruption everywhere. Statehouse is scene of crime of corruption. This week over 6000 people from Kiambu were called into State House, each pocketed Ksh.10k to change their stand on mlima narrative,β Gachagua said in a church service on Sunday.
Gachagua opines that there are attempts to bribe Kenyans into voting for Ruto in the 2027 General Elections.
βTake the money , but donβt do what that money wants you to do in 2027.β
The former deputy president also warned those buying the affordable houses built by the government. Gachagua holds that the houses lie on grabbed land, hence buyers will loose their money when a new government comes to power in 2027.
βTo be honest with you, donβt dare waste your resources buying those houses, in two years time when the new government formed under the opposition, all houses built by this current government on grabbed land shall be returned to rightful owners, to start collecting rent,β Gachagua warned.
The DCP Party leader claimed land owned by the PCEA Church in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado county, has been grabbed by government and given to an individual to build commercial houses.
βI am also told his son has been given go ahead to build a stadium on this land. This stadium will be manned by PECEA Church when we take over the government in the next two years, it is just a matter of time, things will be okay, donβt worry.β
Gachagua has also alleged that foreign troops from Juba land have invaded Mandera county terrorizing the locals whereby 5 people were killed and seven more seriously injured. Wondering why the government of Kenya, and the Commander in Chief is quiet.
