Extenders vs High Tension All-Day Stretchers β€” What Are Your Theories?

I could be wrong here, but in my opinion both extenders and high-tension all-day stretchers seem to work in pretty much the same way. At the end of the day, both apply a constant stretch to the tissue β€” just with different designs and comfort levels.

What do you guys think? Do you believe one is more effective than the other in the long run, or is it mostly about consistency and personal preference?
