Does anyone feel like $100 is now the new $20?

I feel like I am being gaslit on a daily basis. Perhaps this forum can offer some honesty. One thing I’ve noticed is that my salary has doubled over the course of a decade, yet I cannot afford anything anymore. This makes no sense. It makes me really angry, too, simply because I’ve worked my f-ing ass off in my career and now my groceries are like 20% of my income.

Are we being gaslit? Are things increasing as bad as I think?
