Your story deserves to be shared. Youโve been working towards crafting your story all month, and today youโre going to cross the final hurdle: pressing publish.
Here are two ways to do it:
- Just press publish! On your own time, at some point today, muster up the courage and hit that publish button. (If you submitted to a publication, press submitโโโthe editors will review your submission!)
- Join us at 12 pm ET in our Zoom Room to press publish together. Sometimes itโs a little easier to do the hard things with some company. Someone on the Medium side will be in the Zoom room between 12โ12:30 pm ET to keep some motivational jams going, answer any last-minute questions, and be part of the publishing process.
If you finished this challenge, whether youโre with us live or youโre completing it after the fact, you deserve a huge round of applause.
Everyone has a story to tell, but few take the time to make a writing habit, commit to developing their story idea, and build the courage to share it.

A: Your story is live! Share the link with anyone you want. If you chose to paywall it, you can share it with non Members using a Friend link. You can read more about how Medium distributes your story here.
Q: If I submitted to a publication, how long will I have to wait to hear back?
A: This depends on the publication. Check the submission guidelinesโโโmost will have an estimated amount of time it takes them to get to your submission.
Q: Can I write more stories following this process?
A: Absolutely. If this method worked for you, feel free to rinse and repeat.
