Amazon announced today that its live-action Tomb Raider series will feature Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner as Lara Croft. Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge will serve as the showβs creator, writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner, and filming will begin in January 2026, Variety reports. The show and Waller-Bridgeβs involvement were officially announced last year.

The Tomb Raider series is just one of a few video game adaptations in Amazonβs lineup. The second season of its successful Fallout series debuts in December, a God of War series is in development with Ronald D. Moore on board, and the Secret Level anthology series is getting a second season.
