 | These texts are over the course of a month more or less So a couple of months ago, I experienced a gnarly accident. Life changing tbh, hit and run from a car while walking home. Multiple fractures, Internal bleeding and damage, severe eye damage, and head trauma. Coma for 3 days. Hospital for two weeks and was discharged to have some follow up surgeries and to go through expensive physical therapy. I’m what you’d call poor as fuck, so this, loss of work and nobody to sue since the person who hit me has yet to still be found has put me in a fucked situation. But hey, my good friend made a crowdfunding for me to raise funds on my behalf, started when I was in a coma and it ran for a solid few weeks. They raised a LOT of money, enough to sort me and my finances and all these expenses while i focused on on healing and recovery. As you can see though, it’s been a nightmare to get the money from them ultimately ending in them saying their bank account was hacked, drained and now they’re not replying to any messages, I don’t think they’re home because I’ve been by 4 times now. Obviously the next step is a lawyer, singe the police weren’t much help. Am I right in thinking they stole my money and fucked off??
