:::::::I agree that the best case is to remove people and businesses. I also agree that it matters what ASV does for patients. I will research and suggest such an independent source for you to consider. Josef X Brunner (talk) 14:07, 27 June 2025 (UTC)

:::::::I have found a widely used textbook on mechanical ventilation which contains a chapter on modes of ventilation: PILBEAM’S MECHANICAL VENTILATION: PHYSIOLOGICAL AND CLINICAL APPLICATIONS, EIGHTH EDITION ISBN: 978-0-323-87164-8. This may help to structure this article. According to her, a ventilator mode defines the breath type, targeted control variable, and timing of breath delivery.
:::::::I hope somebody picks this info up and puts it to use for the readers. I am happy to help in this Talk section, but since I am biased, I will not act as an editor. Josef X Brunner (talk) 09:17, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
