I wish to discuss this reference to deleting this entry for Maharshi Mehi, which has been at Wikipedia for many years, actually since November 2nd of 2011. I wish to dispute the following characterization: "Largely unsourced biographical article, only sources I could find were from related organizations and blogs, not independent." There are absolutely no "blogs" being cited. What I do find are multiple attestations from several sources supplying the reader with biographical information: websites, a list of over a dozen books including a couple of English translations of Hindi books at The Internet Archive. One of the English books was translated by Veena Howard, Professor of Asian Religious Traditions in the Department of Philosophy at California State University, Fresno, formerly, at the time of the translations publication, the University of Oregon Eugene. I just added another reference, another more recent source by Professor Howard, a paper published in the International Journal of Dharma Studies. Not seeing any "blogs" being cited here. I may visit this page again shortly and see about adding additional references from more sources.

Not seeing any "blogs" being cited here or references that all go back to a single source. I may visit this page again shortly and see about adding additional references from more sources, some new footnotes.

I also wish to address another injustice, When this page was created I notice the title of it was Maharshi Mehi, not simply last name "Mehi". Not sure why his first name was removed. Why are we on a last-name-basis with this particular teacher? Does removing part of someone's publicly and historically recognized name seem like a GOOD idea to anyone? Perhaps some editor was only acquainted with the name of the TM guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and thought he must be the only Maharishi. Maharshi is another variation of Maharishi, a common appellation that applies to many spiritual figures from India. This Wiki entry should be restored to the original title Maharshi Mehi.
