Your lead in only addresses the 2025 study showing South Indian and Adivasi genetic affiliation for the Sinhalese. It doesn’t cover the many other studies showing genetic affiliation with Bengalis and Marathis. Although the other studies are discussed in the article, the lead in appears to suggest that only the 2025 study is valid and all of the other studies discussed in the article are clearly false. The lead in to the article should be more balanced and summative of all the studies mentioned in the article.
