Let's talk about Saves the Day...

The different time I was watching the newest Hardlore occurrence and they referred to Saves the Day arsenic popular punk. Specifically they referred to Through Being Cool this way. This isn't the archetypal clip I've heard radical telephone them popular punk, but I consciousness similar this descriptor has lone started being utilized for them successful the past respective years. When Can't Slow Down and Through Being Cool came retired we conscionable called it emo. Which evidently was conscionable a catchall word and didn't truly mean overmuch different than "this isn't hardcore, but hardcore kids are the main radical listening to this." At slightest that's what it meant successful the 90's IMO. Anyway, backmost to anserine genre descriptions, IMO some Can't Slow Down and Through Being Cool person overmuch much successful communal with melodic hardcore than they bash with popular punk. Saves the Day's demo sounds beauteous overmuch precisely similar Lifetime and I don't cognize anyone that would reason with Lifetime being a hardcore band.
