The arrest results from multiple complaints against Kairo regarding his dealership, Kai and Karo, with claimants alleging that he has been collecting payment from clients without delivering the vehicles imported. A more detailed complaint showed that customers waited over 100 days after completing full payment and still no car was delivered.
A demand letter widely circulated on X, addressed to Kairo and Kai and Karo, dated October 24th, gives them a seven-day ultimatum threatening legal action if the vehicles are not delivered. Reports have it that he made no moves to counter the letter, which resulted in his detention.
