Kenyan Activist Boniface Mwangi Arrested Over Terror Charges, Freed On Bail | Firstpost Africa | N18G Prominent Kenyan human rights activist Boniface Mwangi has been released on bail on Monday (July 21) after being charged with unlawful possession of ammunition. Mwangi, a former photojournalist and vocal critic of the government, was arrested on Saturday (July 19) from his home by police who accused him of facilitating "terrorist acts" during last month's deadly anti-government protests. Mwangi denied the allegations and has not been charged with charged with "facilitation of terrorist acts".
