Tatsuki’s 1999 edition mentioned a “massive disaster in March 2011”. In March 2011, a 9.0-magnitude earthquake triggered a tsunami that killed nearly 20,000 people in Japan. Manga’s 2021 “complete version” warns of a tsunami on July 5.
