Israel has announced a “tactical pause” in military operations in parts of Gaza for humanitarian purposes. The pause in fighting followed growing pressure on Israel over the deepening hunger crisis in Gaza. International aid organisations have reported "mass hunger" among 2.2 million Gazans. According to the Gaza health ministry, at least nine people died of starvation in the last 24 hours. The Israeli forces paused military operations in Al-Mawasi, Deir el-Balah, and Gaza City, saying that they have opened secure routes for the safe passage of humanitarian convoys. The Israeli military also announced that it airdropped humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. Egyptian aid trucks also crossed into Gaza after Israel’s operational pause, while the UAE and Britain announced the resumption of air-dropping aid. --- Israel Gaza War | Gaza Starvation Crisis | Israel Gaza Ceasefire | Firstpost | News Live | World News | Latest News | Global News | International News | News | Trending News #israelgazawar #israelgazaceasefire #gazacrisis #firstpost #newslive #worldnews #latestnews #globalnews #news #internationalnews #trendingnews Firstpost is an Indian news and media website.
