India: Nearly Ten Delhi Schools and St. Stephens College Receive Bomb Threat, Probe Underway | N18G Nearly ten schools and a college have received bomb threats via email over the last three days in India’s national capital, New Delhi, prompting police action and temporary closures. Sardar Patel Vidyalaya announced it would remain closed on Wednesday. The schools that received threats include St. Thomas School in Dwarka, Vasant Valley School in Vasant Kunj, The Mother’s International School in Hauz Khas, Richmond Global School in Paschim Vihar, and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Lodhi Estate. Following the alerts, the Delhi police and bomb disposal squad were deployed to the school premises. Fire departments were also deployed to the spots. Meanwhile, St. Stephen’s College at the University of Delhi also received a bomb threat on Tuesday. The email claimed that the bomb had been planted in the library.
