Although the Granville-Barkers were not the only translators working on Martínez Sierra plays, they were quicker in getting their translations onto the stage than [[John Garrett Underhill]]. The first play the Granville-Barkers translated was ''[[The Romantic Young Lady]]'' (Spanish: ''Sueño de una noche de agosto'').
