Although the Granville-Barkers were not the only translators working on Martínez Sierra plays, they were quicker in getting their translations onto the stage than [[John Garrett Underhill]]. The first play the Granville-Barkers translated was ''[[The Romantic Young Lady]]'' (Spanish: ''Sueño de una noche de agosto''). Harley reduced his involvement in the London theatre world in the inter-war period, but in 1920 he directed a production of ''The Romantic Young Lady'' at the [[Royalty Theatre]].<ref name"Callahan">Callahan, David. The Granville-Barkers were not the only translators interested in Martínez Sierra plays. In 1922 a two-volume set was published with one volume by the Granville-Barkers and one volume by [[John Garrett Underhill]].
