FurMark version 2.9 introduces several updates for its cross-platform graphics card stress testing and benchmarking utility. The latest release delivers support for both the GeForce RTX 5050 and Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics cards, allowing users to benchmark and stress test the newest GPU hardware. With this update, FurMark is now available on Windows for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems, as well as Linux x86_64 and Linux ARM64 platforms, broadening access to a wider range of users and hardware.
On Linux, users gain new flexibility with the added ability to specify the display screen for running stress tests. This improvement is accessible via the new command line option, x11-display-name, and through the graphical user interface, enabling more precise control over test environments, especially in multi-monitor setups. Following these enhancements, the package also updates its integrated tools. The release includes GPU Shark version 2.9.0 and GeeXLab libs version 0.65.0, providing users with updated diagnostics and benchmarking components.
