Stuermer was diagnosed with [[Parkinson's disease]] in late 2024. He first started noticing symptoms during [Genesis|Genesis (band)]]'s [[The Last Domino? Tour]] in 2021-22, when he struggled to play the beginning of [[Turn It On Again]].
